Welcome to Version 1.2 of the FWL Statistics Site. More features are being added as and when time allows. Various pages are nearing completion and will be incorporated into the site as soon as possible.
A brief summary of the extent of the information available from the site is available.
An interesting development is the Game Replay. Based on the live scoreboards used on the NFL site, this feature will replay a FWL game using a scoreboard and a text-based report. An early incarnation can be viewed by following the link. Clicking on the "next" link below the scoreboard will load in the next play. In time, a text description of the recent plays will appear in the box below the scoreboard and a scoring summary will be displayed.
The Game Replay relies on every game being converted to an XML file - this is being worked on at the moment. A few games have been converted to XML in order to test the PHP code. At the request of Mario, the epic Austria vs Rhein game from season 4 will be the first game to be replayed in the Game Replay.
The bulk of the PHP code is also being re-written to take advantage of PHP's object orientated programming facilities. This should make the site easier to expand and maintain.
